Echoing around in the silence of the night was the quiet clashing of swords. In the distance of the deep darkness through the twisting and turning of the twigs the small glow of a light could be seen through the mist of the autumn night. Then a sudden movement dented the light, the light vanished and only darkness and sound remained.
The sound got louder and louder until it was a surrounding boom of noise. Metal against metal. Metal against wood. But it didn’t matter to either of the fighters, they just had to block it out and keep going. Neither of them could accept defeat. But neither could beat each other.
Slowly the light reappeared, revealing the two shadowy figures. The first person that became fully visible was a tall, slim girl in her early 20’s. She was wearing a tight black vest top- that seemed to absorb any light that got close to it- and black skirt combination, which went down to half way up her thigh. Over this was a small black belt positioned perfectly to hold her long, narrow samurai sword covered by a short, split end, strapped coat. She was wearing delicate black boots that came up to just below her knee. Her short black hair framed her face perfectly as she dodged her opposition’s sword. Her black eyes shone brighter than the moon as they caught the glow of the light.
Gradually the other figure was completely visible. It was another girl, again in her early 20’s and thin, but she was slightly shorter. This girl was wearing a tight slightly reflective black vest top-that seemed to repel or emit light more than anything else. She was wearing an identical skirt to the first girl, except it was made of the same material as her top. A mat dark grey belt hung loosely around her narrow hips. Her shinny black boots rose up to above her knees. She had the same strapped coat in dark grey. She was wearing dark silk gloves that extended towards her elbow but didn’t quite reach. Unlike her competitor, she wasn’t smiling, but she was showing her poker face and giving nothing away. Her black eyes stood out from her face, sharply glistening wildly alike the sun as they caught the glow from the burning light that was suspended above them. Her entire body moved silently but swiftly as she fought the only person she couldn’t beat. Her long mahogany red hair whispered into her ears as it was caught by the wind.
